As we move into 2023, we would like to pass on a big change that is happening here at Pediatric Associates that both gives us a sense of excitement for the future of the practice and one of gratitude for the past 5 years.
Early in December we welcomed Justin Crowe to the practice. He joins us from Hendrick Medical Center where he served as the director for Hendrick Clinic, and he will be transitioning into our practice manager position in January. This, of course, means that Cindy Blakeney will be moving on from her role. Cindy joined us in 2019 at a time of significant transition for our practice, and she has been instrumental in helping the practice move forward as a business in order to better serve the families of Abilene and the Big Country. While most of our patients may have never seen Cindy and will never see Justin, their role is critical to the success of Pediatric Associates.
So if you are around the office and happen to run into Cindy or see a new face with a mustache that you’ve not encountered before, tell them thank you for all of the hard work past and to come. We are blessed and grateful for the service Cindy has dedicated and the commitment that Justin is already showing. A lot of our identity is wrapped up in their hard work.
Cindy and her husband are looking forward to travelling and spending more time with their grandchildren after she finishes here at the practice. In fact, they’ve already booked a trip to Yellowstone for next Fall.
Justin and his wife enjoy running and you may bump into them at Disney at one of the many runs that Disney World puts on. They have called Abilene home for almost 20 years while working in various healthcare settings in town. They share their home with four miniature Dachshunds who actually run the place.
