After Hours

For a life threatening EMERGENCY, call 911.

The on-call physician can be reached 7 days a week, 24 hours per day for URGENT concerns that cannot wait until the following business day.  To contact the on-call physician, call Doctors Exchange toll free at 866-701-4921.  You may call our office to hear recorded after hours message if you encounter technical difficulties reaching the answering service.

We very much want to assist our patients with after hours urgent concerns.  Please respect our physicians’ family time and reserve after hours calls for urgent issues only, such as when you are trying to determine if an emergency room or urgent care visit is needed for your child.  Routine prescription refills will not be called in by the on-call physician and should be requested during regular office hours.

For answers to routine or NON-URGENT questions, please contact the office during regular office hours.   This will allow us access to your child’s medical records and allow us to render better care.

For medication DOSAGE INFORMATION after hours, please contact your 24-hour pharmacy or insurance nurse line.


Local after hours urgent care centers for children:

The following is a list of urgent care centers for children often utilized by our patients for concerns that need to be evaluated outside of our routine office hours.  We feel that it is best for children, especially young children and infants, to be evaluated by physicians accustomed to seeing children.  These urgent care centers are staffed by physicians who are trained in the care of children.
